Traffic Management Plans
At Franklin Infrastructure, we provide Traffic Management Plans which we ensure are always of the highest quality, and easy to read and use. We produce plans for all areas of the UK's highway construction industry (both rural and urban highways and motorways), from basic lane closures to multi-phase temporary traffic lights. We also use the latest and most up to date Ordinance Survey Maps to ensure that you can completely rely on the Traffic Management Plans that we produce for you.
Vehicle Swept Path Analysis Drawings (VSP)
During works on the public highway, it is important to ensure that the works themselves do not prevent or inhibit the complex manoeuvres of heavy goods vehicles and abnormal loads, as this could cause congestion and potential danger to the public. A Vehicle Swept Path Analysis Drawing (VSP) simulates a display of the path taken by each wheel of the vehicle, the length and width of the vehicle body, speed and steering angles are worked out and displayed onto the VSP drawing. By using our analysis at the outset, we reduce the risk of error and miscalculation, thereby increasing both cost-efficiency and safety.
Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs)
When the works require restrictions such as the closure of a public highway, banned manoeuvres or diversions, the local borough council or relevant highway authority will require temporary traffic regulation order request forms to be completed.
